What problem does it solve?
At used car dealerships, vehicle details, purchase prices, expenses and inspection reports are scattered across different ledgers, folders and phones. Because a vehicle's true cost only becomes clear once items like paint, servicing, tires and notary fees are added, sales profit stays a guess. Entering the same car on several listing sites and removing every listing once it sells takes time. Consignment vehicles, trade-ins and deposit records get mixed up. The dealer cannot clearly see how much capital is tied up in stock or which car has gone unsold for a long time.
Target customers
- Used car dealerships
- Multi-location auto plaza businesses
- Businesses selling vehicles on consignment
- Commercial vehicle and motorcycle dealers
- Individual traders buying and selling vehicles
How the product works
The dealer adds a vehicle to inventory with plate, VIN, model, mileage and photos, and the purchase price and purchase documents are attached to its card. Every later expense is linked to the vehicle and the total cost is calculated automatically. The inspection report is uploaded as a PDF or photo, and painted and replaced parts are marked on a vehicle diagram. At sale, the customer, trade-in vehicle, deposit and payment details are recorded, and the system shows per-vehicle profit. Listings are prepared in one place, pushed to portals and removed after the sale. The panel provides reports on stock age, tied-up capital and monthly profit.
What the first version (MVP) needs
- Vehicle stock card: plate, VIN, model, mileage and photo gallery
- Purchase record: purchase price, seller details and document upload
- Expense tracking: per-vehicle expense entry and total cost calculation
- Inspection record: report upload and painted/replaced part marking on a vehicle diagram
- Sales and trade-ins: customer, deposit, trade-in vehicle and payment records
- Listing management: prepare listings in one place and push them to portals
- Reports: per-vehicle profit, stock age and tied-up capital
Revenue model
- Monthly or annual subscription per dealership
- Tiered packages by stock size or number of locations
- Branded dealership website and vehicle showroom module
- Add-on modules such as listing integration and accounting export
Why now?
Rapidly changing prices in the used car market make it essential for dealers to see their costs and profit clearly per vehicle. Industry regulations make orderly records and document tracking more important. Most dealerships work with general accounting software or Excel, leaving an opportunity for a simple, mobile-friendly solution built for the sector. The product can later be adapted to small vehicle dealers in Europe.

Frequently asked questions
How is a vehicle's true profit calculated?
All expenses linked to the vehicle are added to the purchase price to get the total cost; the sale price and trade-in value are compared with this cost and per-vehicle profit is shown automatically.
How are inspection reports added to the system?
The inspection company's report is uploaded to the vehicle card as a PDF or photo; painted and replaced parts are marked on the vehicle diagram and can also be shared with the customer.
Can listings be pushed to portals automatically?
Yes, if the portal has an official integration or bulk upload format; otherwise listing data is exported with a ready-made template for quick entry.
How are consignment and trade-in vehicles tracked?
Consignment vehicles are recorded with a separate status linked to their owner, and trade-ins as a new stock card linked to the sale, so profit and payable calculations do not get mixed up.
