Nearshore development for the German market
Many German companies need more development capacity than they can hire locally. A nearshore freelance developer in Turkey closes that gap with almost no time-zone friction: when your team starts at 9:00 in Berlin, it is 10:00 or 11:00 in Izmir. Daily questions, reviews and releases happen inside a shared working day.
I have worked on lieferstdu.de, a restaurant ordering and delivery platform in Germany, including a mobile redesign of the restaurant detail pages and fixes to its multi-language content. Products I build regularly ship in German alongside English and Turkish.
GDPR-aware architecture
Projects for German clients are designed with the GDPR in mind from the start: collecting only the data that is needed, role-based access, encrypted connections, logging of sensitive operations and deletion/export functions for personal data. Hosting can be placed in EU data centres, and data-processing responsibilities are defined in the contract.
Typical projects for German businesses
iOS and Android apps with a Laravel/PHP backend, ordering and kiosk systems for gastronomy, B2B portals for dealers, internal tools that replace Excel workflows, ERP/MRP modules for production, and integrations between shop systems, payment providers and accounting tools.
The Turkish-German business community is a natural fit: I can work with owners in Turkish and with their teams and customers in English, and deliver interfaces in German.
Why German businesses work with me
One accountable developer
You talk to the person who writes the code. No account managers, no hand-offs between sales and a hidden offshore team.
Full stack, end to end
iOS & Android apps, web platforms, backends, APIs, ERP modules and hardware/IoT — designed, built, deployed and maintained by the same engineer.
Staged delivery
Work is split into milestones you can test. You approve each stage before the next one starts, so budget and scope stay under control.
Source code ownership
The code, repositories and accounts are yours. Documentation and handover are part of the job, not an extra.
Async-friendly communication
Written updates in English, a shared task list, and short video calls when a decision needs to be made together.
Long-term maintenance
18 years in the field means many systems I built are still running years later. Post-launch support is planned from day one.

Frequently asked questions
What is the time difference between Germany and Turkey?
Turkey is on UTC+3 all year. Germany is UTC+1 in winter and UTC+2 in summer, so Turkey is 2 hours ahead in winter and 1 hour ahead in summer.
Can you build apps and websites in German?
Yes. Interfaces, emails and documents can be delivered in German, and multi-language setups (German/English/Turkish and more) are standard in my projects.
Do you have experience with German clients?
Yes. I have worked on lieferstdu.de, a restaurant delivery platform in Germany, and I build multi-language products that include German.
How do you handle GDPR requirements?
With data minimisation, role-based access, encryption in transit, audit logs and personal-data export/deletion features. Hosting can be in EU data centres and responsibilities are written into the contract.
Can we communicate in Turkish as well as English?
Yes. Many Turkish-German business owners prefer Turkish for planning and English or German for the product itself — both work.
