Problems with tracking PPE in Excel
Gloves, safety shoes, hard hats and safety glasses handed out from the storeroom are usually written on paper slips or in Excel. Questions like who took what, whether they exceeded their entitlement, and where the signed issuance record is turn into hours of searching on audit day; repeated issuance of equipment to the same employee within a short time also goes unnoticed.
What the PPE tracking software does
- Employee profile: full name, employee ID, card number, department, position, cost center

With or without a vending machine
The software can be used on its own as a storeroom screen: the attendant scans the employee's card, selects the items to issue, and the system checks the entitlement and creates the record.
